Swami Vijay read Autobiography of a Yogi in 1969 at the age of 17. Since his arrival at Ananda Sangha in 1972 he has been dedicated to practicing and sharing Yogananda’s teachings as guided by Swami Kriyananda. As an early member of Ananda he traveled extensively with Swami Kriyananda and was a co-founder of Ananda Sacramento. His diverse life experiences with a wide variety of businesses, as a father and interacting with many types of people have given him the ability to communicate the Yoga Teachings in a way that is understandable and practical.
He is the author of 10 books on the application of spiritual principles to daily life, including: The Journey of Discipleship: Traveling with Swamiji, Meditation: The Science and Art of Stillness and Flowing in the Workplace: A Guide to Personal and Professional Success. He has spent 10 years serving in India and is currently the resident Acharaya in the Ananda Sangha Rishikesh Center.
Dipti has been with Ananda Sangha for the past 3 years. She has received MBA and Law degrees, as well as, international certification in Global Adolescent Health from the University of Melbourne, Austrailia. She is currently deeping her understanding of Ananda’s Education for Life system and training for sharing the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda.
